Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"How not to like this place, the people, their food? Few dishes on the menu---as it should be in this type of restaurant---rooted in the territory and tradition but significantly lightened and with a modern presentation. The cuisine is simple and tasty. I loved the sweet spices in the casonzei, the fresh chanterelles in generous quantity in the perfectly cooked tagliatelle, and their charcuterie "tagliere" is simply delicious. We concluded with the always pleasing schmarm, a classic of the valleys all around. With two vegetable side dishes, two glasses of wine each, coffees, and a quantity of food such that we could not even finish it, all of high quality, we paid about 110 euros, which while not on the cheap side, I find very reasonable. The location is simply beautiful (I recommend walking up from the valley, or at least taking a walk around, if you can), service is sweet, the interior is warm and inviting."
"Excellent restaurant tucked away in the heart of the Dolomites. Very friendly and professional staff, tasty dishes, excellent wine and not too pricey. Definitely worth a visit."
"If you're anywhere near here, come! Coffee, breakfast, lunch and cocktails. Dinners on Friday and Saturday night. It's so charming and they are incredibly friendly. Everything is tasty and the place is an incredible display of craftsmanship and comfort."
"Cozy place, excellent food and very nice service. I am very happy that we visited this place during our stay in Italy."
"Best views, the friendliest staff, amazing food! We stopped by for a quick lunch, after a recommendation by a local. First off, the location will take your breath away! Then, you walk inside, and the interior is cozy, yet modern, but also Alpine. The food is the best I’ve had in the area. The waitress and chef are also owners of the restaurant. They treated us like family and we spend long time talking to them at the bar while they let us traste their own grappa. I felt I was with friends and would definitely go back!"
"Relaxed and easygoing place. Simple menu that works great!"
"What a sweet restaurant with food that is both considered but unpretentious, and of very high quality. Our server Lorenzo was fantastic. He helped us a navigate the menu, explained the ingredients and prep of the dishes and how they relate to the local environment. My game ragu tagliatelle was excellent as was my wife’s ravioli with nettles in sage butter. We sampled local cheeses, drank a beautiful bottle of wine from a producer 60km away. Ended the meal with panna cotte and homemade amaro. All for less than €90. We will be back and encourage you to go."
